Data Source Permission Assignment

Nx provides you the ability to assign granular access depending on users job function, business needs and organization’s overall privacy policy. Once the Data Source is successfully added, perform the following steps to grant permissions to users to configure metadata, content or OCR scans. These permissions can be granted at the data source level or at site/directory/folder level.

1. Login to Nx with admin credentials

2. Go to Data > Resource Browser

3. Under the Resource Browser, locate the Data Source scan for which you would like to assign access and then click on Assign Access

4. On the following screen, provide an Access Name, select the Users that you would like to give access and the type of permissions and hit Save

• Full Access allows access to view the content of this data source
• Restricted permission restricts the user to view the content
